High alloy castings extend life of cement kilns
ACI (Alloy Casting Inst) chromium iron nickel alloys recommended for cement mill applications, due to excellent heat, impact and abrasion resistance; discharge end nose ring casting is frequently made of ACI type HH alloy which exhibits high strength, ductility and corrosion resistance at temperatures up to 2000 F; HH type can be produced either partially ferritic or wholly austenitic; HK alloy is of wholly austenitic structure.
