As sequel to new development in use of plastics, light metals, laminated wood and other products and by-products in construction of various equipment, new hazards will challenge safety engineers; examination of list of manufacturers shows that there are in United States approximately 28,000 plants where dust explosion hazards may exist; conditions under which explosions occur; laboratory experiments; dust explosion prevention and protection.
