Shakedown analyses of some typical one-story bents
Shakedown solutions for variable repeated loadings for several typical 1-story frames obtained by modified linear programming method, using electronic computer are reported; proportions of selected frames were based on realistic designs in steel; alternating plasticity and deflection stability of frames are considered; results make it possible to compare elastic, conventional plastic, and shakedown analyses for selected frames.
