Tests of 1 to 40 model of 25,000 sec-ft spillway, for earth dam in Colorado, for determining: minimum radius of curvature of inlet transition for satisfactory hydraulic performance, efficiency of spillway crest and bridge piers, most economical and effective design of spillway chute, extent of downstream erosion, and feasibility of stilling basin to prevent scour; design curves for stilling basin; hydraulic properties of chute flow.
