Slope stability in axial symmetry
Vertical cross sections of axi-symmetric slopes are developed for homogeneous, isotropic solids satisfying Coulomb yield function; it is shown that for all initial radii of top boundary cross sections approach vertical wells with increasing depth; diameters of wells seem to be essentially independent of initial radius, and to be functions of properties of solid.
