Mathematical analysis of stress-distribution in cylindrical concrete shell roofs
Use of relaxation methods to determine stresses in cylindrical shell roof, and formal theories advanced for this type of problem, which all require solution to complicated set of simultaneous partial differential equations; Jenkins' theory is first cast into form more suitable for treatment by relaxation methods, and given shell is then solved under 2 different conditions of support; both solutions have been checked by recalculation with electronic computer.
