Mastering rolling of lightened channels
On conversion to rolling lightened number 20 and 22 channels, it was found necessary to raise ingot soaking temperature and to increase elongation factor; to reduce roll wear and intensify flange deformation, it is recommended to design all grooves, including finishing grooves, with large outlets.
