Concrete in sea water: revised viewpoint needed
Study of results of extended observations of concrete marine structures, along Pacific Coast of United States and Canada; leading to conclusion that because of complete lack of evidence of sulphate-of-magnesium attack upon them, there is no valid basis for believing that such attach occurs, and that it is vitally important to have dense, impermeable concrete made of sound materials with adequate cover over reinforcement.
