Comparison between mechanical properties of nickel bars annealed in hydrogen and aged at 15 deg., 175-180 and 225-235 deg., may be used to demonstrate aging effect produced at high temperatures; effect is less marked than for steels; curves are given showing effect of successive heat treatments for 30 min. and 1 hr. at 220-230 deg.
