Energy Absorption in Hydraulic Jump Bores
Study of energy absorbing capacity of hydraulic jump waves, on basis of numerous hydraulic experiments, shows that this capacity does not depend merely on volume of bore of wave but also on coefficient characerizing initial high velocity flow, which coefficient is function of both velocity and depth; formulas and tables.
