Factory building of unusual design
Various fabricated steel assemblies were produced by steel construction firm of Ludwig Binder and Co, Gleisdorf, Austria, in building which has number of unusual features; important advantages are claimed as regards initial and operating costs, and arrangement involves use of roof structure of unusual design, developed by K. Koss; factory layout and materials handling; feature of new roof design, for core section, is that it is built up mainly from precut steel plates, with tensile strength of 23 1/2 tons/sq in.
