Influence of modern pedagogical concepts on shape and size of class rooms is discussed; in particular, some new school building designs based on P.Petersen's plan are shown; plan considers small groups of pupils of different ages but equal intellectual and physical development studying together; need of some degree of cooperation between school architects and teaching staff is stressed.
