Compilation of data recording method of sinking vertical circular shaft 12 ft in diam through soft running ground; two shafts sunk 120 ft apart, using concrete caissons with 18 in. walls, built up on steel cutting ring 16 in. deep and 1 in. thick; procedure in sinking caissons to depth of 70 ft.
