Structural design and construction features of our Lady of Good Counsel
Use of precast elements, some prestressed, in construction of 12-classroom, three-story school building; precast elements were cast off site with maximum form reuse and delivery programmed with site operations; precast frame for two wings of L-shaped structure, about 135×99 ft each, was erected in about four days; roof and floor slabs were cast in place, beginning at top and working down by dropping formwork in complete bay assemblies.
