Evolution of uses of cloud seeding technology
Evolution of uses of cloud seeding technolgoy is reviewed to determine factors responsible for introduction of new technology into operating systems for water resource management; chronology of evolution of cloud-seeding technology for dissipation of cold fog and for snowfall augmentation is examined to illustrate typical sequences in introduction of technology: it is observed that there was substantial lag between recognition of possibility of beneficial application and general acceptance of technology.
