New buildings erected in 1965 are described; in view of short time period (5 mo) between racing seasons, "pre-fabrication" of new reinforced concrete grandstands on building site adjoining old grandstands was carried out simultaneously with demolition of latter; 198 m long 19 m high six-level structure with 18.7 m span cantilever roof was built in seven sections; these were placed on trolleys and rolled into position on rails at speeds ranging from 18 to 25 mph; total displacement was 209 m.
