Ground subsidence at north Stavropol' gas field; ground subsidence is greatest over central part of field where there is cone of depression of stratal pressure; stratal pressure and ground subsidence decline toward edge of field; subsidence is due to compaction of productive horizon and overlying plastic Maykop clay.
