Modern sound-stage construction
Acoustical analysis is presented with relationship to construction of modern sound stage; this is illustrated by specific example of stage having about 14,000 sq ft of floor area and height clearance of 35 ft; construction employed 6 in.-thick concrete, tilt-up walls; significant acoustic precautions are discussed, including isolation of structural and utility elements, interior acoustic material, doors and ventilation.
