Interesting features about recently completed municipal hydroelectric development of city of Grand Forks is fact that power house has been constructed between two piers of abandoned bridge, water being transmitted to turbines in two 4-ft wood stave pipe lines laid on old flume grade; two piers are 40 ft apart and foundations of power house were set on foundation of piers.
