Unconfined aquifer characteristics and well flow
Numerical solutions are developed for determination of aquifer characteristics and unsteady radial flow through injection wells in unconfined aquifers under constant drawdown and injection pressure conditions; appropriate dimensionless parameters are introduced to transform basic differential equation of flow into explicit form; dimensionless graphical solutions are presented for rate and accumulative volume of discharge and recharge and radius of expansion of recharge mounds vs time for range of drawdown and injection pressure values; numerical examples are presented.
