Progress in placing earth fill 160-ft above original stream bed; capacity of reservoir will be 500,000 acre-ft; approximately 3,500, 000 cu yd of fill material will be required to complete embankment; light grout curtain was inserted into foundation to depth of 40 ft, through grout holes at 20-ft intervals; about 100,000 cu yd of rock had to be blasted; nearly 3,500,000 cu yd of fill material for structure will be excavated from pits in future reservoir area and transported by scraper.
