Tests described were designed to simulate conditions in garage and showed that there was little danger of uncontrolled fire spread or of high temperature in building structure resulting from fire in one vehicle; experimental work carried out on nine cars under actual storage conditions confirms that outbreak of fire, within single parked car, is unlikely to result in uncontrollable fire spread in garage or in serious damage to structure of building.
