Chlorinated rubber as concrete curing material
Chlorinated rubber protects concrete surface from rain wash within few minutes after placing; it retains moisture in concrete, provides tough film that penetrates pores of concrete and is resistant to mild chemicals and salts, thus resisting scaling; for newly placed concrete 200 to 300 sq ft/gal is proper coverage and should be applied as soon as water sheen disappears from surface; heavier application is needed for old concrete to prevent scaling.
