Determining setting time of cement paste, mortar and concrete with copper-lead electrode
Results of tests show that because of total absence of disturbing influence of aggregate, electrode method of determining setting time of mortar or concrete is more accurate than mechanical methods and it also yields results which better correspond to actual situation; method is also applicable to hydraulic bonding agents other than portland cements; tests on passivation of copper.
