Use of Arbeton, American adaptation of European Naturbeton, in construction of 33-story office building, Dallas, Tex, where steel mesh is wrapped around column rebar cage or is placed outside wall reinforcements; dry aggregates fill space between mesh and form; rich mix of concrete is vibrated inside cage to force mortar from concrete through mesh and dry aggregate to form; forms are removed early and concrete is sandblasted while it is still fresh to expose aggregate; material, equipment, concrete mix and forming procedures are outlined; Arbeton costs only about half as much as precast panels.
