Notes on construction of Greyfriars Bridge (Hereford), with 290 ft main span in form of prestressed concrete arch, which is believed to be second longest span in United Kingdom; this is constructed integrally with two side spans making total length of 460 ft between abutments; superstructure is formed by five box section beams with connecting slab and diaphragms; cantilever side spans have horizontal soffits at same level as springings of main span.
