Diagnosis of hospital air conditioning
Review of development of hospital air-conditioning from first package units to spray coil facilities; use of induction systems; recent studies presented to ASHRAE suggest that it is highly desirable for reasons of asepsis to increase bedroom clean air ventilation from 0.35 cfm/sq ft to 2.0 cfm/sq ft, eliminate room recirculation entirely, introduce air by means of nonaspirating outlets located in ceiling, and exhaust air via stripline registers at floor perimeter.
