Dynamic flexibility matrix analysis of frames
Force method approach for dynamic response of continuous beams and frames with translation of joints is developed; equations necessary for determination of natural frequencies and/or dynamic response are developed in matrix form and programmed for automatic computation on IBM 709 digital computer; application is made to determination of natural frequencies and dynamic response of 3-member, one-bay, one-story rigid frame and 6-member, one-bay, 2-story rigid frame.
