Fundamental theory of thin-walled curved girder
Basic formulas are given for static equilibrium of stress components, relation between stresses and deformations, for calculation of cross sectional properties, and stress distribution over cross section; analysis takes into account influence of curvature of curved girder axis as well as several geometrical and statical conditions; attempt made to present thin-walled theory for case where ordinary curved girder is subjected not only to shear forces through flexural axis and bending moments but also to axial force under any external loading; important stress formulas derived in forms similar to those of straight girder. In Japanese with English abstract.
