Field experiment of jointing thick plate
Twenty-five specimens were made of 150 to 200 mm plate, changing joint structure and fastening material on basis of result of preliminary experiment; statistical tensile test was carried out and stress distribution, relation between load and slip, and ultimate strength of riveted and bolted joint were studied.
