Jacking method used on 5-ft. sewer at Lorain, O.; excavated material was removed from within pipe by wheelbarrow and taken out of trench by excavator; sheet of light metal was bolted to bottom of paved invert pipe to reduce friction during jacking; "A" frame was used to lower sections of pipe into working trench, trench 12 ft. deep, which was dug by Austin excavator to provide room for jacking operation.
