Simple braces make tough pile installation easy
Use of set of adjustable braces to stabilize driving templates and conveyor for installing steel-shell concrete piles in steeply sloping channel bottom with passing ships constantly leaving wakes at site; bracing system is composed of eight steel clamps 8 in. wide that bolt to tops of completed piles and to steel shells of piles not yet concreted; template is set over two previously constructed and braced-together piles near bulkhead, and extends out to guide two piles under construction.
