Ocean engineering and American Society of Civil Engineers
Technical Council on Ocean Engineering has been set up by ASCE to advance ocean engineering within discipline of civil engineering, and to encourage civil engineers to prepare for and practice in this new area of technology; its primary focus will be on continental shelves and abyssal depths, and it will act as catalyst to ASCE's divisions to stimulate their involvement in ocean engineering problems.
