Design, construction and testing of plywood hyperbolic paraboloid lattice structure
It is concluded that lattice type wooden shells are structurally adequate, economical and practical; monolithic construction of multiple units so that they are mutually stabilizing is particularly desirable; for example, core tripod consisting of middle and two north edge members of specific structure eliminated need for external props and/or ties; appendix on membrane analysis of shells; illustrations.
