Technical record of design and construction of variable thickness concrete arch dam on Flathead River; reservoir has total capacity of 3,500,000 acre-ft; dam has crest length of 2115 ft and is 564 ft high; spillway is circular, controlled crest surmounted by ring gate with centerline diam of 64 ft; power plant, at downstream toe of dam, has installed capacity of 300,000 kv-amps at 95% pf; four Francis turbines are 105,000 hp each at 180 rpm under net effective head of 400 ft.
