Some experimental data relating to design of prestressed concrete
Static loading tests on beams, with information on losses of prestress; design may underestimate actual losses; permissible bending tensile stresses should be directly proportional to maximum precompression in concrete to provide constant load factor against cracking for pretensioning or for post-tensioning with grouted cables; simple method of calculating ultimate strength.
