Nature of difficulties that arise when using four probe method of measuring resistivity in high alloy germanium is investigated; it is recommended that four probe measurements be made after "forming" current contacts; investigations were made on single crystals of germanium alloyed with As, Ga and Sb. (see also English translation in Indus Laboratory v 31 n 10 Oct 1965 p 1510-12)
