Application of one architect's experience with heat-of-light concept in design of 94,500-sq ft building for Electronic Associates, Inc, West Long Branch, NJ, is described; when building is occupied, heat, in form of warm air, is collected from lights, equipment and personnel; portion of heat is redistributed to areas where it is required; remainder is transferred through ducts to heat pump where it is converted to hot water; hot water is pumped into underground storage tank to be used during night and other periods when building is not occupied.
