Multistory symmetrical single-bay frames and simply supported equal parallel chorded Vierendeel girders are solved by moment distribution method of N.Naylor; once moments have been determined, deflections throughout frame are quickly computed using information available in Distribution Table; method for determining " deflection line" for simply supported girder permits speedy solution for continuous Vierendeel girder.
