Permeability of cement mortar and concrete to water vapor
Effect of composition of mortar or concrete, effect of age, curing temperature and some other parameters on water vapor permeability of mortar and concrete were investigated; dominating factors affecting water vapor conductivity in case of completely compacted concrete were found to be length of time of underwater storage before testing and water/cement ratio; effect of temperature on transmission of water vapor was found to be considerable.
