New horten high altitude glider of flying wing type with parabolic wings
Span 12 m, wing area 33 sq m, aspect ratio 4.3; empty weight 90 kg; this corresponds to surface loading of 51 kg/m3, assuming weight of pilot of 80 kg; some details of method of construction given; central section (2.4 m width) incorporates tubular steel frame; outer wings built entirely of wood and whole surface is covered in plywood.
