Three-pin reinforced-concrete frame buildings
Illustrated description of system, basic principle of which is that of 3-pin portal frame in precast reinforced concrete units; design is due to C. W. GLOVER and partners; pair of units which form one complete span are jointed at apex by pin, and other two pins are formed by rounded ends of vertical legs of span; system can be used for buildings ranging from huts which can be erected by three men in 7 hr to elaborate multi-story buildings.
