Principle of compensated expansion as basis for controlled strengthening of hardened cement
Combination of expanding, accelerating, and compensating factors (to increase strength, density, and prevent destructive stresses as result of crystallization at late hardening stages) are applied to portland cement in order to obtain new expanding high strength and water impermeable pastes and concretes; effect of various additives.
