Computation of maximum forces at joints between beams in multibeam bridges consisting of precast reinforced or prestressed concrete beams placed side by side touching one another and connected together through continuous longitudinal shear keys between adjacent units; Indian Roads Congress standard loadings were used; nine bridges selected for study included four- and eight-element bridges of channel and closed sections.
