On study of pneumatic breakwater in Japan
From laboratory studies carried out in Japan, performance of pneumatic breakwater in deep water is rather good; this is contradictory to authoritative large-scale experimental studies made in England; theoretical study, laboratory experiment and also full-size tests carried out in Japan three times under natural conditions are outlined; account is given of performance of bubble jet by using characteristic velocity and thickness that represent horizontal current and also on performance of wave reduction of horizontal current.
