It is assumed that yield stress at section point depends solely on distance of this point from contour; W.O.Geogdzhayev (1959) has shown that by introducing certain linear transformation of coordinates, problem of torsion of anisotropic bar may be reduced to that of isotropic bar with certain different transformed contours of section; this transform can be applied to formula previously established by author for calculating limit carrying capacity.
