Fatigue test on T-shaped concrete beams reinforced with deformed bars
Results of study on fatigue characteristics of concrete beams reinforced with deformed bars produced in Japan are reported; beams were supported over span of 3 m and two point loads were applied by 10 ton pulsating jack at rate of 250 cycles/min; maximum range of loads was set first to 2200 kg/sq cm in bar stress to examine change of beams near allowable stress and subsequently it was raised by 400 kg/sq cm until failure; at intervals beams were subjected to static loads to measure crack width, strain and deflection. (In Japanese with English abstract)
