Details of layout, design and construction of plant on the Drac River; dam has been erected from which leads an open and cemented canal of 745 m. length to penstock; latter is of reinforced-cement tubing 6 m. in diam. and 1 1/2 km. long; each turbine drives directly 2800-kva. 5500-volt, 50-cycle, 3-phase generator at 300 r.p. m. with direct-connected exciter.
