General relationships between cement-water ratio and strength of portland cement concrete
Relationships are formulated so that if strength of concrete mix at any specified maturity and cement-water ratio is known, strength at same maturity can be predicted for other cement-water ratios; relationships are presented graphically and in tabular form in order to permit rapid adjustment of mixes to meet strength requirements; by same means cement content of concrete mixes can be adjusted to meet specified requirements, even if exact cement-water ratio is not known.
