Project is discussed and drawings shown of bridge spanning English Channel; bridge to be supported by submerged caissons anchored to channel bottom; cantilever bridge with 350 m spans or suspension bridge with 1000 m spans are suggested; also project of fixed abutment bridge was calculated and model tested by Ste Grenobloise d'Etudes et d' Applications Hydrauliques and Laboratoire National d'Hydraulique, Chatou.
